The short version

ScarInsight is a mostly-static research site. We do not collect personal information beyond what you voluntarily submit (newsletter signup) and basic privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages help people.

What we collect

• Newsletter email: If you sign up for the newsletter, we store your email with our email provider and use it only to send ScarInsight updates. Unsubscribe anytime.
• Anonymized analytics: Aggregate pageview and referral data (no personal identifiers) to improve content.
• Affiliate click tracking: Clicks on affiliate links may be tracked by the merchant or network for commission purposes. We don’t tie these to identity.

What we don’t do

• Sell or rent your email or any other personal data.
• Track health conditions or link your browsing to an identity profile.
• Run third-party ad tracking (the site is affiliate-supported, not ad-supported).

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies for analytics and affiliate attribution. You can disable cookies in your browser without losing access to the core content.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, and request deletion of any data associated with your email by contacting us.
